Light rain fell across the region overnight, with snow above 2150 meters (around 30 mm recorded). Throughout the day, the sky alternates between bright spells and cloudier periods.

This afternoon into early evening, a southerly wind sets in, generally moderate but strengthening over the mountain ridges, reaching 50 to 60 km/h. Precipitation totals remain low, except along the border ridges of Haute-Maurienne, where 15 to 20 cm of fresh snow is expected around 3000 meters. The rain-snow limit hovers between 2300 and 2500 meters. Maximum temperatures reach 22 to 24°C in the lowlands. The freezing level is around 2900 meters.

Tonight:
Clear spells early in the evening become less frequent overnight. The rain-snow limit, initially near 2200 meters, may drop to around 2000 meters later in the night. Moderate southeast winds continue, especially across the interior massifs.

Bulletin of the next day

Rain or showers. During the day, moderate southeasterly wind in Haute Tarentaise and Haute Maurienne ; decreasing later. Elsewhere lighter winds.
