Are you aware of The benefits of the mountains in spring?

As soon as the weather starts to warm up, what could be better than enjoying the sun, the pure mountain air and wide-open spaces? This is your guide to slowing down the pace, recharging your batteries and embracing the benefits of the mountains in spring.

Fill your lungs with fresh air As you explore the mountains

The mountain air is not only pure and fresh, it also acts as a real boost for the whole body. The air here is believed to have energising properties. The higher you go, the less oxygen there is in the air and contrary to what you might believe, this is in fact excellent for our body!

You'll be skiing on softer snow With the sun beating down

Due to higher temperatures and more sun, the snow in April starts to melt on the surface and has a velvety texture late morning. This is perfect if you’re looking to have some fun on the sunny slopes and use your ski poles without getting stuck in the snow. This soft snow should be enjoyed to your heart’s content.

You'll get all the vitamin D you need out on the terrace with friends

After skiing down your favourite slopes, come and give your legs a rest out on the terrace. With lounge music playing in the background, just bask in the sun and admire the magnificent scenery. You’ll see the outlines of the peaks in the distance and you can just about make out the traces left behind by some daring skiers looking for excitement.

Just letting go Quite an art

Take a seat in one of the comfortable deck chairs, facing the snow-covered peaks. A good book in one hand and a cappuccino in the other, you’ll be ready to take it easy and relax for the afternoon. Browse the list of all our mountain restaurants with the perfect outdoor terrace and breathtaking views across the ski area, where you can simply bask in the sun.

Treat yourself to some pampering Relaxing areas and massages

Every week, the Centre Aquasportif organises a relaxing evening session on a Wednesday (8:30pm to 10pm). During this session, admission to the Wellness area (sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath) is included between 7:30pm and 9:30pm with your swimming pool entrance fee. After a day of skiing, treat yourself to a massage at the Spa Pure Altitude. The ultimate feeling of relaxation and wellness, in a warm and inviting atmosphere (facials, body treatments, relaxing massages).
