Antoine Gras’ story began in 2013 when he joined the team of Les Barmes de l’Ours as a kitchen porter. Thanks to his rigour and passion, he rose through the ranks and became sous-chef in 2016. The management had every faith in him when, the following year, he took the helm in the kitchens of this Relais & Châteaux establishment in Val d’Isère. At the age of 24, just one year after taking up the position, this young Chef’s hard work and professional commitment were rewarded by one of the most prestigious institutions in the world of gastronomy, when he received a star from the 2019 Michelin Guide.
